Sun MediaCenter Server Administrator’s Guide • December 1997

With regard to video-file attributes, when you

get

or

mget

files, (the Media File

System [MFS]-to-local file system direction) those files are stored in a local file
system with as many or few attributes as you specify. Conversely, when you

put

or

mput

files (the local file system-to-MFS direction), those files are stored in the MFS

with the attributes that were recorded in the local file system from which the files
were copied.
