2. Select Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced, to open the window shown in
Figure 6-19.

3. Make sure that the option "Use Java 2 v1.x.x for <applet>" is selected under
the menu point Java (Sun). You may need to restart the Microsoft Internet
Explorer.
Note
The "Use Java 2 v1.x.x for <applet>" can only be selected if you have already
installed the JVM Plugin from Sun Microsystems (download from Sun
Microsystems website).
