an AC outlet.
Press  /CHARGE to
start charging.
The player charges the battery. “Charging”
flashes and the OPERATION lamp
lights up on the player, and the indicator

the display in succession as charging
progresses.

Preparing a Power
Source
Use only the following batteries for your
player.
Rechargeable battery
Charge the rechargeable battery before using
it for the first time or when it is
depleted. To maintain the original battery
capacity longer, charge the battery only
when it is completely depleted (“Low
Battery” appears on the display).

Dry Battery
Be sure to remove the AC power adaptor
when using the dry battery. Replace the
battery with new one when the battery is
depleted.
• LR6 (size AA) alkaline battery
