X Check all hardware for proper tightness
X Change engine oil and filter at 5 hours See engine manufacturer information
X Check belt tension 2 hour, 4 hour, and 8 hour intervals.
X Check engine oil level Do not overfill
X Remove debris from oil cooler See engine manufacturer information
X Clean hydraulic pump cooling fins MORE OFTEN IF NEEDED
X Remove debris from under belt cover MORE OFTEN IF NEEDED
X Sharpen cutter blades MORE OFTEN IF NEEDED
- Grease spindle bearings (2 pumps of hand gun) + US Lithium MP White Grease 2125
X Clean air filter MORE OFTEN IF NEEDED
X Check tire pressure Add air if necessary
X Check battery acid level Use distilled water only
X Check belt tension Adjust as needed.
X Replace air filter MORE OFTEN IF NEEDED
X Change engine oil See engine manufacturer information
X Grease caster wheel bearings Chassis grease - Qty 2
X Grease caster wheel pivots Chassis grease - Qty 2
X Grease idler arm pivots Chassis grease - Qty 3
X Grease push arms Chassis grease - Qty 2
X Grease control levers Chassis grease - Qty 2
X Grease bell crank Chassis grease - Qty 4
X Grease height adjustment Chassis grease - Qty 1

Drain hydraulic system and replace fluid
Use SAE 20W50 motor oil
Change hydrostatic oil filter * Clean area before removing filter
Adjust air gap on electric clutch Contact your Scag dealer for information
about making this adjustment
