Creating Your Own Program
(Program Play)

You can arrange the order of the tracks on a disc and
create your own program. The program can contain up
to 24 tracks.

Playing in Random Order
(Shuffle Play)

You can have the player “shuffle” tracks and play in a
random order.

Press PLAYMODE repeatedly until “SHUFFLE”
appears in the display.
When using the remote, press SHUFFLE.

The

indication appears while the player is

“shuffling” the tracks.

To cancel Shuffle Play

Press PLAYMODE twice.
When using the remote, press CONTINUE (CDP-XE500 only).

You can start Shuffle Play while playing

Press PLAYMODE repeatedly until “SHUFFLE” appears
in the display. When using the remote, press SHUFFLE
(CDP-XE500 only). Shuffle Play starts from the current
track.

appears in the display before you start playing.
