<Troubleshooting>

Replace with new
[xxx] toner
cartridge

A toner cartridge has
almost reached its
estimated cartridge
life.

Note

• If the black toner

cartridge is reached
its estimated
cartridge life, Mono
Only

message does

not appear.

• Samsung does not

recommend using
non-genuine
Samsung toner
cartridge such as
refilled or
remanufactured.
Samsung cannot
guarantee non-
genuine Samsung
toner cartridge's
quality. Service or
repair required as a
result of using non-
genuine Samsung
toner cartridges will
not be covered
under the machine
warranty.

You can choose among
Stop

, Continue or

Mono Only

as shown

on the control panel. If
you select Stop, the
printer stops printing
and you cannot print
any more without
changing the cartridge.
If you select Continue,
the printer keeps
printing but the printing
quality cannot be
guaranteed. If you
select Mono Only, the
machine prints the data
in black only.

Replace the toner
cartridge for the best
print quality when this
message appears.
Using a cartridge
beyond this stage can
result in printing quality
issues. (Page 13.4)

Scanner locking
switch is locked or
another problem
occurred

The CCD (Charged
Couple Device) lock
has been locked. The
CCD does not detect
its home location or
move.

Unlock the CCD lock.

the machine and on
again. Try again. If
the problem persists,
call for service.

Sensor failure:
