DEICER
You can program the windshield wiper deicer for two operation modes: continuous
and 15-minute. When the continuous operation mode is programmed, pressing the
windshield wiper deicer switch means that the deicer will continue to function. It will,
however, stop operating automatically if certain conditions are met. (Refer to the
vehicle owner’s manual for these conditions.) In the 15-minute mode, the windshield
wiper deicer will automatically shut off after about 15 minutes. You can shut it off
before that time if you push the switch.
RESET
Select this key to revert all the three settings you performed on this screen to the
default settings.
This completes the procedure.
NOTE
• All selections and settings become effective as soon as they are made.
• The monitor system returns to the vehicle information screen when you select .
• Setting the windshield wiper deicer is only enabled when your vehicle has the windshield wiper deicer function.
