÷ If there is no disc title beginning with the specified character, “NO

ENTRY” will be displayed.

Disc search

(DISC SEARCH mode) (Player A only)

By inputting the initial letter of the desired disc title, discs which have the disc titles beginning with that character can be
searched in sequence.

Input the initial letter of the disc title to be
searched.

DISPLAY-A : When initial letter “A” is selected.

To play the searched disc

Each press switches the modes as follows:

1 MUSIC TYPE
2 DISC SEARCH
3 TITLE INPUT
4 ALL DATA READ
5 ALL INFORMATION
6 DTS DISC SKIP

If the selected disc is being played on Player-B, blinking “DISCXXX BUSY!” is displayed and the disc will not be played.

10-key Remote

Main unit

÷ If a desired character is not provided on the remote control buttons,

input the character as follows. Press the CHARACTER (DOWN/UP)
buttons or rotating the DISC SKIP knob on the main unit (provided that
the OPERATION-A indicator is lit) until the desired character is dis-
played in the flashing cursor position. Then, press the SET button.

÷ The type of characters (capital letters or numbers/symbols) is switched

each time the CHARAC. button is pressed.

Although all operations can be controlled from both the 10-
key Remote and Keyboard remote control units, do not
change the remote control unit in the middle of operation
such as character input. Otherwise, characters may not be
input correctly.

case and lowercase.

÷ Lowercase characters cannot be input in the CHARAC. SEARCH mode.
