Setting up the GRC according to the option components
(Set Up)
The following procedures prepare the GRC for operating the
components connected through system control cords. Make
sure that these components are connected through system
control cords.

÷ If you proceed to the following “Set Up” operations immediately after steps 1 to 4 of “Model Type
Setup (GRC setup procedure)” on page @, start operation with step “ 3 Select the CD icon” in
the “Set Up CD” procedure.

÷ Select “Single”, “Dual”, “Carrousel” or
“Changer” according to the connected
CD player type.

2 Press the ”ENTER“ key to enter the
selection.
3 Select the ”CD“ icon.
4 Press the ”ENTER“ key to enter the
selection.
5 Select the ”Single“ icon.
6 Press the ”ENTER“ key to enter the
selection.
7 Select the ”Main Menu“ icon.
8 Press the ”ENTER“ key to enter the
selection.
÷ Select “Dual” or “Single” according to
the connected cassette deck type.

2 Press the ”ENTER“ key to enter the
selection.
3 Select the ”Tape 1“ icon.
4 Press the ”ENTER“ key to enter the
selection.
5 Select the ”Dual“ icon.
6 Press the ”ENTER“ key to enter the
selection.
7 Select the ”Main Menu“ icon.
8 Press the ”ENTER“ key to enter the
selection.
÷ Select “System Control” or “IR” ac-
cording to the connected LD player type.

2 Press the ”ENTER“ key to enter the
selection.
3 Select the ”LD“ icon.
4 Press the ”ENTER“ key to enter the
selection.
5 Select the ”System Control“ icon.
6 Press the ”ENTER“ key to enter the
selection.
÷ Icon appears at the moment the setup
has completed.
÷ Icons / or icon appear at the
moment the setup has completed.
÷ Icon appears at the moment the setup
has completed.
In the operations of the GRC (Graphical Remote
Control unit), proceed to each step within 10
seconds after the previous step.
The display disappears in 10 seconds.
To resume GRC display, move the Joy-
stick key in any directions.
