1. When the signal to turn the food sounds, open
the door and turn it.
2. Close the door. Press the button "Start/Quick
Start" t. The microwave automatically resumes
operation for the remaining time.
Note:
If you wish to carry on without turning, wait for the
acoustic signal. The microwave automatically conti-
nues its programme. We recommend that you do
turn the food. This will ensure an even thawing.
Thawing by time
1. Press the button "Thaw by time" w. In the LED
display 2 appear the red symbols for the thawing
function ,
"Auto Cook" and "M1".
2. Turn the rotary switch 4 to programme in the
thawing time. The maximum possible thawing
time is 95 minutes.
3. Press button "Start/Quick Start"t to start the
thawing process. The calculated time counts
backwards
Note:
With some foods, such as meats, poultry, fish, vege-
tables and sausage it is necessary to turn the food
after a certain period. The signal tone sounds five
times, the remaining time stops counting and in the
LED indicator 2 "turn" appears, to remind you of
the requirement. When turning the food, proceed
as described in the chapter "Thawing by weight".
Query functions
Query the microwave power level during
operation.
During the cooking process press the button "Micro-
wave" i. The activated power level appears on
the LED indicator 2 for approx.5 seconds.
Child protection system
Engage this setting to prevent accidental activation
by children and other persons not familiar with the
operation of the appliance.
The symbol for child safety appears in the LED
indicator 2 and the appliance cannot be put into
operation for as long as this function is activated.
Setting the child safety system
Press and hold the button "Erase/Stop/Child Safety" z
for ca. 3 seconds. At first an acoustic signal sounds,
then the symbol for Child Safety
appears in
the on LED indicator 2.
Deactivating the child protection system
Press and hold the button "Erase/Stop/Child Safety“ z
again for ca. 3 seconds, until an acoustic signal sounds
and the symbol Child Safety
extinguishes.
Acoustic signal function
On completion of the cooking process, 5 signal tones
sound and, in the LED indicator 2, "End" and "Hot"
are shown alternatively. If the door is not opened
after approx. 2 minutes, 5 short acoustic signals
sound again.
Note:
• If you have pressed a button and activated a
valid function, an acoustic signal sounds. If you
have selected an invalid button/function, 2
acoustic signals will sound.
• If, after programming in the cooking process,
you have not pressed the button "Start/Quick
Start" t within 20 seconds, the appliance
reverts to standby operation (the time is displayed).
