The quality of each call you make or re c e i ve depends on
the signal strength in your immediate are a .When turn e d

cator is always in the upper left corner of your display and

Understanding Power Save mode
If yo u ’re trying to use your Samsung PCS Phone in an are a
w h e re the signal is too we a k , the Power Save fe a t u re will
a u t o m a t i c a l ly activate to conserve battery power when
yo u ’ve been unable to pick up a signal for 15 minu t e s .I f
your phone is on, it will peri o d i c a l ly re ch e ck service ava i l-
ability or you can do so yo u rself manu a l ly by pressing any
key.A message will be displayed on the screen any time
