Troubleshooting

Use this chart to solve common problems. If you fail to find the solution,
contact your local dealer for assistance and service.

CONDITION

CAUSE

CORRECTION

The power switch is
“ON” but the machine
does not operate.

The power switch is
“ON”, the fan is rotat-
ing, but the lamp
does not come on.

The power switch is
“ON” the lamp is on,
but there is no pro-
jected image.

The image is blurred.

The light is not bright
enough.

Power is suddenly
lost during use.

• Is the power cord

disconnected?

• Is the fuse blown?
• Is the TOP COVER

completely closed?

• Is the lamp installed

securely?

• Is the lamp burned out?
• Is the LAMP CHANGE

HANDLE in the right
position?

• Is the PROJECTION

MIRROR open, and
properly tilted up?

• Is the distance between

the screen and projection
too far or too close?

• Is the “UP” label on the

Fresnel lens facing the
stage glass?

• Is the projected image out

of focus?

• Is the transparency flat?

• Has the lamp been in use

for a long time?

• Is the fuse blown?
• Connection has been lost

with main power?

• Connect the power cord

on power source.

• Replace the blown fuse.
• Close the TOP COVER

completely.

• Set the lamp securely.

• Replace the lamp.
• Move the LAMP CHANGER

HANDLE firmly to the right
(or left) position then turn
the power switch “ON”
again to reset the power.

• Raise the PROJECTION

MIRROR on the head and
tilt it to project image for-
ward.

• Position the projector

1.3 - 4 meters from the
screen.

• Reinstall the Fresnel lens

with the “UP” label facing
the stage glass making
sure to secure it with the
clip holders.

• Adjust the focus knob on

arm to have a good focus.

• Ensure that the trans-

parency is flat.

• Replace the lamp. Or use

LAMP CHANGE HANDLE
to switch to a new lamp.

• Replace the fuse.
• Check the main power

cable for right connection.
