While in this diagnostic screen, the following

information is available and may be beneficial

for various reasons. This information is reĆ

tained by the computer from the first time elecĆ

trical power is applied to the face plate.
-- Press

to display the number of days this

face plate has had electrical power applied.
-- Press

to display the number of regeneraĆ

tions initiated by this face plate since the SR

code number was entered.

Press Select to advance to the following

alternating displays.

This setting controls the length of the backĆ

wash cycle (regular recharge backwash, and

the CLEAN feature backwash if set to ON). A

longer backwash is beneficial if supply water

is dirty, or contains iron. The time is adjustable

up to 5 minutes. Use the UP or DOWN button

to set.

The next press of the SELECT button displays

an AUTO RECHARGE screen.

For this model, the AUTO RECHARGE display

must show. If anything other than AUTO

shows, press a UP or DOWN button until it

does show.

Press SELECT once again to display 12 hr, TIME.

At this setting, display times are shown in stanĆ

dard clock time. If set to 24 hr, using the UP or

DOWN button, display times will be in military

time, 0100 (1:00 AM) to 0000 (midnight).

Press the SELECT button and hold 3 seconds

until

SC21 shows.

This code identifies the softener nominal capacity

size. If the wrong number shows, the softener will

operate on incorrect programming. Do the

following as needed.

RETURN THE PRESENT TIME DISPLAY

Press the

SELECT button.

CHANGE THE SR NUMBER - Press the UP or DOWN

button to display correct number; press SELECT, and

reset the timer.

NOTE:

If the face plate is left in a diagnostic display (or a flashing
display when setting times or hardness), time of day
automatically returns if a button is not pressed within 4
minutes.
