Installing the battery

Your phone comes with a rechargeable
850 mAh battery.

1.

Hold the phone with the
back facing you and pull
downwards to slide the
battery cover open.

2.

Lift the cover off.

3.

With the metal contacts
pointing toward the
bottom of the phone,
insert the top of the
battery in the phone
casing, making sure the
plastic tabs slide into the
corresponding openings at the top.

4.

Press down on the battery until it clicks
into place.

5.

Place the battery cover over the phone casing
and slide it upward until it snaps into place.

Removing the battery

1.

Turn the cellular phone off.

2.

Hold the phone with the back facing you and
slide the battery cover open.

3.

Place your fingernail in
the recess provided at the
base of the battery
housing and lift the
battery out.

Charging the battery

You must have at least a
partial charge

in the battery

to make or receive calls.

Fully charge the battery
before using the phone.

To charge the battery, remove
the silicone strip covering the jack on the bottom
of the phone, connect the AC adapter to the jack,
and then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
The battery icon tells you whether the phone is:
• Charging (the icon is animated)
• Partially charged
• Fully charged
After the battery charging is finished, if the cell
phone is in the power on state, then the screen
will show “Charge completed”.
