Field Calibration
4 At the [File] menu, select [Import-Digitizer], and click [One Scan] or [Step Scan].
The software opens the [File-Import-Digitizer-One Scan] or [File-Import-Digitizer-Step Scan] dialog.
The dialog’s work window shows a field calibration image.

There is a possibility that the image of the Field Calibration Chart is displayed out of center in the Work window
of the dialog box or the finder of the instrument due to individual differences of the VIVID 9i/VI-9i or Field Cal-
ibration System. It does not have an effect on the result of Field Calibration.

If the image of the Calibration Chart isn’t displayed in the angle of the VIVID 9i/VI-9i’s finder or Work window
of the dialog box of the Polygon Editing Tool, setting of Field Calibration Chart or the instrument might be in-
correct. Reinstall them correctly again.
(The following example is from the [File-Import-Digitizer-One Scan] dialog.)
5 Click the [Calibration] button.
The system carries out field calibration.
