Troubleshooting

Power does not turn on

• Is the AC adaptor connected correctly?
• Is there any remaining battery capacity?
• Did you hold down the power button?

Nothing appears in the display

• Is the contrast adjusted correctly? (

Display is dark

Is the backlight set to "OFF"? (

→p.26)

No sound

• Is the MR-1000 and the connected equipment powered-on? (

→p.13)

• Are the amp or headphone connections incorrect?

Can't hear the playback

Headphones
• Is the headphone volume set to "0"?

Can't hear the audio input

• Are the recording settings correct?
• Is the recording level raised?
• Make sure that audio is being input.

In the level meter screen, verify that the level meters are moving.

Can't record

Are the input level L/R knobs lowered?

Is there sufficient hard disk space remaining?

→ Set the counter display to "Free" and check the remaining time available for recording.

The recording is interrupted

• Could the MR-1000 have been bumped while recording?
• Could the MR-1000 have been in a location subject to continuous vibration (such as near a

motor or a bass amp) while recording?
