Press the REPEAT button during playback. REP-ONE is

displayed on the television screen. The title currently
being played back is now repeatedly played back, until
the repeat playback is switched off.

Press the REPEAT button a second time. REP-ALL is dis-

played on the television screen. The entire audio CD is
now repeatedly played back until the repeat playback
is switched off.

To switch off the repeat playback, press the REPEAT

button a third time. REPEAT OFF is displayed on the tel-
evision screen.

Repeating sequences

With this function you can repeatedly play back any se-

quences of the title currently being played back. To do
this:

Press the A–B button as soon as the beginning of the

required sequence is played back. A TO B SET A is

shown on the television screen.

Press the A–B button again as soon as the end of the

required sequence has been played back. Take note
that the beginning and the end of the sequence must
be within one title. A TO B SET B is shown on the televi-

sion screen.

The repeat playback of the selected sequence begins im-

mediately. The sequence is repeated again and again until
the A–B button is pressed again. A TO B CANCELLED is

shown on the television screen.

MP3/JPEG mode

Information on the JPEG mode:

Only JPEG files with a resolution of max. 1600 x 1200

pixels can be played back. JPEG files with a higher reso-
lution cannot be played back.

Playback MP3/JPEG files

To play back CD-Rs/CD-RWs with MP3 and JPEG files with

the combination unit:

Open the disc tray of the combination unit with the
OPEN/CLOSE button.

Insert a CD-R/CD-RW with MP3/JPEG files with the la-

belled side upwards in the disc tray.

Close the disc tray with the OPEN/CLOSE button.

The contents of the inserted CD-R/CD-RW is now being

loaded; this can last a few seconds.

As soon as the content of the inserted CD-R/CD-RW

has been loaded, it is played back automatically.

Functions when playing back

MP3/JPEG files

The following functions are available during the playback

of CD-Rs/CD-RWs with MP3 and JPEG files:

Pause playback (Pause)

To pause the playback of a file, press the PAUSE button

during playback.

To continue playing back the file, press the PLAY button.

Stop playback (Stop)

To stop the playback of a file, press the STOP button.

Playback stop with resume function

The combination unit automatically saves the position

at which the playback is stopped. This function is called
resume function. If you press the PLAY button once more,
then the playback will continue at the saved position.

Playback stop without resume function

The saved position is deleted if you press the STOP but-

ton a second time. If you press the PLAY button once more,
then the playback of the first file/of the first file in the first
sub-folder of the CD-R/CD-RW starts.

Selecting a file

You can select files on an inserted CD-R/CD-RW in the fol-

lowing ways:

Skip to the beginning of the title (Skip)

With the SKIP forwards and SKIP backwards buttons you

can skip throughout the contents of the CD-R/CD-RW dur-
ing the playback

• forwards to the beginning of the next file or

• backwards to the beginning of the file currently being

played back

The selected file is played back immediately without you

having to press the PLAY button. The number of the file is
shown in the display of the combination unit on the left of
the playback time.
