Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY USB 2.0 to eSATA adapter. This compact USB 2.0
adapter is designed to connect a single SATA/eSATA disk drive or external enclosure to your
computers USB port. Simple Plug and Play installation under most operating systems without
the need for a driver. Ideal for data retrieval and back up. Single drive operation only, this
adapter does not support Port Multiplier function.

Installation
The LINDY USB 2.0 to eSATA Adapter is a true Plug and Play device which does not require
any software or drivers to operate under most operating systems.
1. Do not plug the USB adapter into your computer yet
2. Connect an eSATA (or eSATA to SATA cable) to your drive and to the USB adapter
3. Connect the power connection to the drive and power up the hard drive
4. Now connect the USB adapter to an available port on your PC
The adapter and drive will automatically install and become available as a new drive.
