f) Confirm with OK.
g) If the radio programme is transmitted in
stereo, then select stereo in ”Mode 1”. This
setting is then automatically used for
”Mode 2”. For a mono transmission, you
can select M110 in ”Mode 1”, for example,
and another bandwidth for Mode 2. In
”Sound 2” another carrier frequency for an
additional radio programme can be set.
h) Sound carrier frequency for the radio
programme using the left/right keys on the
remote control, e.g. 7.38, or enter the
frequency directly with the numeric keys.
Press the red button to store
the settings
Close the overview with the
END button.
For radio operation the screen goes black after
20 seconds, indicating that the unit is in power
saving mode.
This function can be switched
off for the programming
procedure by briefly pressing
the red button.
Press the MENU button to call
up the ”Radio Menu”.
Select the
”Radio programmes” line.
Confirm with OK.
Select the ”Manual
settings” line
Confirm with OK.
Manually search for and
save radio programmes
Radio programmes can be saved and called up
from radio programme locations 0 to 196.
If you have used the pre-programmed settings
for initial operation, then many ASTRA und
EUTELSAT 13° East radio programmes are
already stored.
Analogue satellite radio programmes are
transmitted together with a television
programme.
If you wish to store new analogue radio
programmes, you need the following data,
which can be found in satellite magazines or
may be obtained from your dealer:
• Which satellite is sending the radio
programme.
• Is the satellite range high or low?
• Polarisation level V = Vertical or H =
Horizontal.
• The frequency of the television programme.
• The sound carrier frequency of the radio
programme.
• The transmission mode stereo or mono.
If you have this information, you can begin
manually programming a radio programme.
Call up the radio menu
press the button on the remote
control…
the ”Radio operation ” menu appears.

a) Select the satellite polarisation level, Sat/H
(horizontal) or V (vertical).
b) Select satellite (provided that in the ”Search
for programmes automatically – satellite
installation” there is more than one satellite
entered).
c) Select the satellite band ”Low or High”.
d) Enter the frequency of the television
programme or start the search procedure by
pressing the blue button until the
corresponding television transmitter is
found.
e) Select the ”Sound carrier ” line.
