Slide the new hard disk drive into the hard disk drive bay and pivot it down
until it snaps into position.

Reconnect the power cable to the optical drive.

Replacing the optical drive

This section provides instructions on how to replace the optical drive.
To replace the optical drive, do the following:
1.
Remove the computer cover. See “Removing the computer cover” on page 12.
2.
Remove the front bezel. See “Removing and reinstalling the front bezel” on
page 13.
3.
Disconnect the signal cable and the power cable from the rear of the optical
drive.
