1. Choose onE of the two connection methods:
A. Connect the laCinema Rugged HD to your television and stereo with the
provided video composite + stereo cable.
b. Connect the laCinema Rugged HD to your television with the provided HDMi cable.
You can also connect the LaCinema Rugged HD to your home theater receiver’s Optical
digital audio port with an Optical digital audio cable (also called S/PDIF) (not included).
2. Connect the power supply.
3. turn on your television and stereo (if applicable).
4. When the laCinema Rugged HD is connected to your television,
turn it on by pressing the remote control power button.
5. Use the remote control to select the media files you want to play.

NOTE: by default your laCinema Rugged HD is set to HDMi Video out mode. to
switch to Composite mode(the yellow connector), turn on the laCinema Rugged HD
using the power button on the remote control and then press the info button.
