Customizing SPA9x2 Extensions

NAT Settings Notes

Parameter

Description

Share Line Appearance

Indicates whether this extension is shared with other stations or
private.

If you set this extension to private (not shared), the extension does
not share calls, regardless of the Share Call Appearance setting on the
Phone tab.

If you set this extension to shared, calls follow the Share Call
Appearance setting on the Phone tab.

A shared line shows two telephone icons next to the line button to
indicate that it is shared.

LCDs of all phones that share line appearances show when a shared
extension is in use.

Defaults to private.

Shared User ID

The user assigned to the shared line.

Defaults to blank.

Subscription Expires

The subscription expiration time with the SIP proxy.

Defaults to 3600 seconds.

Parameter

Description

NAT Mapping Enable

Select yes to use externally mapped IP addresses and SIP/RTP ports in
SIP messages. Otherwise, select no.

Defaults to no.

NAT Keep Alive Enable

Select yes to send the configured NAT keep alive message
periodically. Otherwise, select no.

Defaults to no.

NAT Keep Alive Msg

Enter the keep alive message that is sent periodically to maintain the
current NAT mapping.

If the value is $NOTIFY, a NOTIFY message is sent. If the value is
$REGISTER, a REGISTER message without contact is sent.

Defaults to $NOTIFY.

NAT Keep Alive Dest

Destination that receives NAT keep alive messages.

If the value is $PROXY, keep alive messages are sent to the current or
outbound proxy.

Defaults to $PROXY.
