Manual programming
! Press PROG/CHECK. The TIMER RECORDING screen appears.
! Confirm the highlighted line with ENTER.
! Use to select the name of the TV station.
! Use to switch to the next field and change entry using .
Name, Date, Start and Stop can also be entered using the numeric buttons.
If you record several programmes in a row, the first few seconds of the following
programme are not recorded on the disc,
approx. 30 seconds.
TIMER-controlled recordings
! If you want to enter the programme name, use to select [Programme Name]
and confirm with ENTER.
! Once you have made all changes, save the programme with ENTER.
! To continue programming, select [New Timer Programme].
! Press TIMER to switch the unit to TIMER standby mode.
The symbol lights up in the unit display.
! To cancel or pause the recording, press TIMER again.

Reminder
A Timer Recording will start in
a few seconds. Press TIMER button
to record or RETURN button to cancel.
Reminder
If you enter a TIMER programming and do not switch the recorder to TIMER standby
because you want to watch a television programme, then you will be reminded of the
pending start 1 minute before the recording starts.
! Press TIMER if you want to start the timer recording.
! Press RETURN if want to cancel the timer recording.
Even if you forget or don't want to press TIMER to switch to TIMER standby, the recorder will start recording.
You have to press RETURN for cancelling the timer recording.
Checking , changing or deleting TIMER RECORDINGS
! Press PROG/CHECK.
! Use to select the TIMER RECORDING.
Delete a programme with CANCEL.
Programmes that are currently being recorded cannot be deleted.
Check the settings or correct them if necessary using ENTER

. Confirm your changes with ENTER.
Programmes that are currently being recorded cannot be changed.

If you selected PDC [ON], TIMER-controlled recordings are deleted from the list after two days.
Make sure that the unit is switched to TIMER standby mode.

(Date): For recordings that are made daily or weekly, the display indicates whether there is
enough storage space on the disc.
!: Is displayed if the disc is not in the unit, is write-protected or does not have enough
storage space.
