If the settings are correct continue with step 13, else press

repeatedly to select either Time, Year, Month or Date.
11 Press
1 or 2 or 0–9 repeatedly to set the correct value.
12 If necessary, repeat steps 10 and 11 until all settings of the
time and date are correct.
13 Press OK.
➜ The screen turns blank for about half a minute. Next, the
DVD screen appears.The installation is complete and the
DVD recorder system is ready for use.
14 To install radio stations on the DVD recorder system:
Make sure an FM antenna is connected to the
DVD recorder system. Next, press TUNER.
➜
AUTO INST is displayed.The DVD recorder system
searches for available radio stations and stores them in its
memory.
➜ After the search
INSTALLATION COMPLETE is
scrolled and a radio station is played.
15 If you connected other equipment to the DVD recorder
system, the following standard settings will be used:

TV EXT-1 TO TV-I/O
satellite receiver EXT-2 AUX I/O
VCR EXT-2 AUX I/O
game console EXT-2 AUX I/O
CD player IN DIGITAL
CD recorder LIN1
tape deck LIN2
If you connected the equipment to other input sockets,
please continue with chapter “Input settings” on page 54 to
change the settings and to ensure proper functionality.
16 The DVD recorder system uses the following standard
settings for the distance between the speakers and your
preferred listening position. For optimal surround sound
experience you can change these settings. See “Speaker
setup” on page 55.
