Getting Started

Initial Settings

If the Initial Settings screen appears when you turn the camera on, follow
the procedures on the pages indicated below to configure initial settings.

You can choose the language in which the menus, error messages, etc.
are displayed from the following: English, French, German, Spanish,
Italian, Russian, Chinese (traditional and simplified) and Japanese.

Turn the camera on.

Use the four-way controller (45) to

select the display language.

The default setting is English.

Press the four-way controller (3).

The screen for setting the City will be
displayed.

If the above screens do not appear, there is no need to configure initial settings.

Setting the Display Language

You can change the setting after it has been made. Refer to “Changing
the Display Language” (p.102).
