Using the built-in sound quality
settings

Press [PRESET EQ] to select the sound
quality.

Every time you press the button:

HEAVY : Select this when playing rock or other kinds of music that

sounds better with an added punch.

SOFT

: Select this when listening to background music.

CLEAR : Select this for jazz or other kinds of music for which clarity

in the treble range is desired.

VOCAL : Select this to add gloss to vocals.

The original display is restored on the display panel in about 4
seconds.

Note

Preset EQ cannot be used together with Super Sound EQ.

All recordings are performed at “EQ-OFF” setting even if an
alternative sound quality setting has been selected.

Enhancing the sound quality

This feature enhances the bass and treble effect of the sound.

Press [SUPER SOUND EQ].

Remote control : Press [S.SOUND EQ].
Press the button again to cancel.

Adjusting the bass

Press [SUBWOOFER].

The button lights when the feature is on.
Remote control: Press [SHIFT] + [SUBWOOFER].

Each time you press the button:
MID (medium)

MAX (high)

Light off (off)

To cancel

Press [SUBWOOFER] to turn the light off.
Remote control: Press [SHIFT] + [SUBWOOFER].

Note

You cannot use this function when headphones are connected.
