Remarks

This selects the video input signals.
CAM: Signals input from the camera.
VIDEO: Signals input from the
GENLOCK IN connector.

Even when VIDEO has been selected as

the REC.SIGNAL item setting, the setting
will revert to CAM when the power is
turned off and then turned back on.

This selects the mode for recording on
the VTR.

9/50M: (16:9) signals are recorded

using the 50 Mbps format.

3/50M: (4:3) signals are recorded

using the 50 Mbps format.

9/25M: (16:9) signals are recorded

using the 25 Mbps format.

3/25M: (4:3) signals are recorded

using the 25 Mbps format.

This selects the playback mode.
AUTO: Mode in which the tape is
played back after the recording mode
is detected automatically.
50M: The tape is played back in the
50M mode.
25M: The tape is played back in the
25M mode.

This selects the RET switch function.
REC CHECK: The REC CHECK
operation is performed.
CAM RET: The return signal output
operation is performed.
(MARK): The MARK switch operation
is performed.

This is displayed when the Picture Link adaptor board (AJ-YAP900, optional acces-
sory) has been installed.

The underlining in the variable range column indicates the setting in the preset mode.

USER menu: The USER menu appears when the MENU switch is set to SET.
ENG menu:

The ENG menu appears when the MENU switch is set to SET while the SHIFT/ITEM button and UP button are
held down together.
