While this network model is typical, other network models are possible. For example, you may choose to attach
the Ethernet WAN por t to an external Ethernet hub connected to a number of workstations.
Readying computers on your local network
PC and Macintosh computers must have cer tain components installed before they can communicate through
the Netopia R910. The following illustration shows the minimal requirements for a typical PC or Macintosh
computer.
