Towbar
Outrigger Leg
Bolt
Catch Pin

Step 4
Connect an Outrigger Leg to front of
Towbar using (1) Outrigger Leg Bolt
and (1) Outrigger Leg nut (already in
place)
Use wrench to tighten nut until snug
then back off ½ turn
Insert Catch Pin to lock in vertical
position
Caution: Next step requires Outrigger
Leg locked in vertical position as
shown
Step 5
Connect an Outrigger Leg to back of
Towbar using (1) Outrigger Leg Bolt
and (1) Outrigger Leg nut (already in
place)
Use wrench to tighten nut until snug
then back off ½ turn
Insert Catch Pin to lock in vertical
position
Caution: Next step requires Outrigger
Leg locked in vertical position as
shown
Step 6
Remove Beam from shipping pallet
Tip Beam up onto endplate as shown to
the right. Make sure a helper holds
onto the top of the Beam during the
remainder of this step. The beam is
very heavy and dangerous if it tips over
Connect Beam to the Towbar with (2)
Beam Bolts and (2) Beam nuts
Tighten Bolts to 37 lb-ft with a wrench
