Using Centrex Services

You can use a few Centrex services from your IP phone. Contact your
system administrator to determine if the following features are available:

“Using Centrex or Exchange Line Switchhook Flash” on page 138

“Using AutoDial Transfer” on page 138

Using Centrex or Exchange Line Switchhook Flash

Use the Centrex or Exchange Line Switchhook Flash

feature during an

active call to use Call Transfer or Three-Way Calling.

Using AutoDial Transfer

Use the

AutoDial Transfer

feature to transmit digits to the Central Office

after a Trunk Switchhook Flash. You must be on a Central Office/
Exchange (CO) trunk call from, or connected to, a CO that offers Centrex
or exchange line-type features.

1.

During a call, press the

CentrexSHF

key.

You hear a special dial tone.

2.

Dial the codes for your custom

Centrex

feature.

3.

Press the

Goodbye

key to end the call.

Press the

CentrexSHF

key, and wait for

an interrupted dial tone.
