If you purchase the optional chest pulse sensor (see page 31), follow the steps below to install the re-
ceiver included with the chest pulse sensor.
1. Make sure that the power cord is unplugged. Remove
the indicated Screws (99) and the two Console Screws
(32) from the Console Base (98).
2. Have a second person carefully lift the pulse plates and
the Console Base (98). Be careful not to pull any
wires.
Connect the wire on the receiver (A) to the indicated wire
extending from the Console (105).
Hold the receiver so
the small cylinder is oriented as shown. Then, remove
the tape from the back of the receiver, and press the re-
ceiver onto the Console Base (98)
in the location
shown.
3. While making sure that no wires are pinched, set the
Console (105) on the Console Base (98). Place the pulse
plates on the Console and the metal crossbar. Reattach
the Console and the pulse plates with the Screws (99)
and the Console Screws (32) (see step 1). Discard the
other wires included with the receiver.
