Step 1: Set the Auto Exposure Lock

Press the right arrow again to select AE Lock.

Press the down arrow twice to highlight once to hightailed Reset and
press the right arrow to reset AE Lock.

1.
Position the switch around the shutter release button to M-REC
mode.
2.
Press the Menu button twice to display the second screen of the
Shooting menu.
3.
Use the zoom buttons to select the second option, EXP (Exposure).
4.
Press the right arrow button to display the Exposure menu.
5.
Press the right arrow button again to display the AE Lock menu.
6.
Select the On or Reset option.
7.
Press the right arrow button to activate it.

Press the Menu button twice to display the second page of the menu.
