All of the alarm messages always appear on all of the echo
sounder’s screens. You won’t miss any alarms while displaying
echo sounding data, and you never have to press any keys to view
the current alarms (although you must press

STAR

to clear alarms

that don’t automatically clear).

The

SAVE

and

MOB

functions always work normally. Moreover,

on the 961/962, whenever you press either of these keys, the corre-
sponding

*SAVE##*

or

*MOB##*

waypoints will be displayed

automatically on the echo sounder’s picture, as well as on the

CHART

screen (after you press

CHART

).
