TRANSMISSION, SUSPENSION AND VDC SET-UP SWITCHES

The control of the vehicle’s dual-clutch transmission

, suspension

, and Vehicle

Dynamic Control (VDC)

can be changed by operating each set-up switch.

TRANSMISSION SET-UP SWITCH (Automatic Mode)

Ⅲ When the shift selector is in A (Automatic) and the set-up switch

is set to Normal

mode (center position), the appropriate gear position is automatically selected for
optimal fuel mileage.

Ⅲ Push the switch

up to the R position for higher RPM operation, and greater

powertrain torque and engine braking.

Ⅲ Push the switch

down to the SNOW position to reduce the powertrain torque on

snowy roads and slippery surfaces.

TRANSMISSION SET-UP SWITCH (Manual Mode)

Ⅲ When driving in manual shift mode with the set-up switch

set to Normal mode

(center position), the engine automatically upshifts when the tachometer reading
reaches the red zone to limit engine revving.

Ⅲ Push the switch

up to the R position to change gears more quickly than in normal

mode.

Ⅲ When the switch is in the R position, the engine will not automatically upshift when RPM

reaches the red zone.

Ⅲ The SNOW position is not available when driving in manual shifting mode.

SUSPENSION SET-UP SWITCH

Ⅲ When the set-up switch

is set to Normal mode (center position), the damping

force of the shock absorbers is automatically adjusted to be suitable for everyday
driving.

Ⅲ Push the set-up switch

up to the R position to increase suspension stiffness rates

for cornering during cruise driving.
