Troubleshooting Hands-Free Operation

The

NAVIGON 7200T

must be connected to a mobile phone in order for you to use the

telephone functions. After the first connection, your

NAVIGON 7200T

will automatically

reconnect with your phone each time it comes into range.

Problems occurring when trying to establish a Bluetooth connection can have various
causes:

Bluetooth is deactivated in the hands-free module of the

NAVIGON 7200T

.

=> Activate Bluetooth. Make sure that the

NAVIGON 7200T

can be detected by

other Bluetooth devices. (See “Setting Bluetooth Options” on page 139 for
more information.)

Bluetooth is deactivated on the mobile phone or it is set to "Hidden".

=> Activate Bluetooth on your mobile phone. Make sure that your mobile phone

can be detected by other Bluetooth devices.

For more details refer to your mobile phone manual.

The

NAVIGON 7200T

may not have successfully connected to your mobile phone

before.

=> Initiate the connection manually. (See “Connecting (Pairing) with a Mobile

Phone” on page 125 for more information.)

If none of the above actions resolve the problem, reset the device.

=> With the

NAVIGON 7200T

powered on, use a stylus or paper clip to press the

reset button located on the bottom of the case.

Note: If the

NAVIGON 7200T

is still unable to establish a Bluetooth connection to

your mobile phone, contact your mobile phone manufacturer's customer support.
