Traffic Flow Severity Indicators

The severity indicator reflects the impact of the traffic occurrence on traffic flow.

The severity indicator appears as a color bar on the traffic list view. Indicators are

Red

Heavy traffic, expect delays.

Yellow

Moderate impact to traffic.

None

Minor impact to traffic flow.

Event or Incident Icons

On the Traffic Information window, the following icons are used to represent traffic
events or incidents:

Slow traffic.

Construction.

Accident.

Slippery road due to weather
(snow, ice, rain, etc.).

General problem affecting
traffic flow.

Wind.

Lane closures.

Flooding.

Road closed or blocked.

Informational only. No nega-
tive affect on traffic flow.

Ramp problems. On- or off-
ramp closures, etc.
