D-Lighting
When an image is compromised by excessive back light
or insuffi cient fl ash, the COOLPIX S4 has got it covered.
Just select the image, opt for D-Lighting and the camera
automatically creates a copy, but with light and detail added
where necessary.
Face-priority AF*
The Face-priority AF function can detect and focus in on
a human face, no matter where it is located in the frame –
producing pleasingly sharp portraits, more of the time.

In-Camera Red-Eye Fix
The In-Camera Red-Eye Fix function is incredibly useful.
Automatically detecting then correcting the red-eye effect
sometimes caused by fl ash, it produces more fl attering results
