7.6.2

Establishing a connection from the mobile phone

Note: Please consult the mobile phone's manual if you are uncertain
about how to carry out the following steps on the mobile phone.

1. Make sure that the Bluetooth function is activated on both the

mobile phone and the NAVIGON 72xx.

2. Using your mobile phone, search for other Bluetooth devices.

The navigation device is detected as NAVIGON.

3. Initiate a connection to the detected NAVIGON device.

The mobile phone prompts you to enter a password.

4. Enter a four-digit password (user-defined).

The NAVIGON 72xx prompts you to enter a password.

5. Enter the same password in the Key box as on the mobile phone

and tap on OK.

window opens. A connection is

established between the two devices. The name of the connected
mobile phone is displayed at the bottom edge of the screen.

7.6.3

Terminating the connection and deleting the connection
data

You can terminate the connection between the NAVIGON 72xx and the
mobile phone at any time.

Note: You don't need to terminate the connection manually. The
connection is terminated automatically when the mobile phone is moved
a distance of approximately10 m from the NAVIGON 72xx. In this case
the connection data are saved so that the connection can be restored
automatically when the mobile phone is close enough to the
NAVIGON 72xx again.
