PAUSE
• Press PAUSE during playback to stop
the tape for stop-action viewing.
• Press PAUSE again to return to normal
playback.
• Details on pages 52-53.
PLAY
• Press PLAY when the camcorder’s
CAMERA/OFF/VCR switch is in VCR
to begin playback.
55 REW (Rewind)/SCAN
• Press and release 55 REW/SCAN
quickly (CAMERA/OFF/VCR in
CAMERA) to view the last three
seconds of recorded material.
• Press and hold 55 REW/SCAN
(CAMERA/OFF/VCR in CAMERA) to
visually search the recorded material in
reverse. Release
55 REW/SCAN to
record at that point on the tape.
• Press 55 REW/SCAN (CAMERA/OFF/
VCR in VCR) to rewind the tape.
• Press and hold 55 REW/SCAN during
playback (CAMERA/OFF/VCR in
VCR) to visually search the tape in
reverse at a higher speed. Release
55 REW/SCAN to return to normal
playback.
STOP
• Press STOP (CAMERA/OFF/VCR in
VCR) to stop playback, rewinding, or
fast forwarding.
• STOP has no effect when
CAMERA/OFF/VCR switch is in
CAMERA. To stop recording, press
CAMERA RECORD/STANDBY.
TITLE ON/OFF
• Press TITLE ON/OFF to display and
remove the titler graphics in the
viewfinder.
VCR REC (Record)
• Press VCR REC (CAMERA/OFF/VCR
in VCR) to record on the camcorder
from the audio/video jacks.
ZOOM (W and T)
• Press and hold W ZOOM to move the
lens in the wide-angle direction.
• Press and hold T ZOOM to move the
lens in the telephoto direction.
