Digital Video Connection: The PlasmaView VHD has a dual HDMI input board, labeled
HDMI (SLOT 2). Connect the HDMI output from the VHD Controller to input “A” on this
board, using an HDMI-to-HDMI cable.
Some PlasmaView VHD models have a DVI input board (labeled DVI-D IN (SLOT 2)) in place
of the dual HDMI input board. Connect the HDMI output from the VHD Controller to this
input, using a DVI-to-HDMI cable or equivalent cable/adapter combination.
RS-232 Connection: Connect the RS-232 output from the VHD Controller to the SERIAL
input on the PlasmaView VHD. Use a standard, modular telephone cable with RJ11 plugs at
both ends. On the PlasmaView VHD end, use the provided RJ11-to-DB9 adapter. This adapter
is wired as shown in Figure 3-5.
