Connecting External
Speakers (Optional)

The Crystal Series LCD is equipped with stereo speakers, which are mounted directly
below the screen. If you prefer, you can connect the rear-panel speaker outputs to
external speakers.

Connect the

(positive) and

(negative) speaker wires to the rear-panel SPEAKER-R

and SPEAKER-L terminals; see Figure 3-8. Maintain the correct polarity. For more
information, refer to the owner’s manual for your speakers.

You can also remove the built-in speakers if they are not needed; this permits installation
of the display in locations where space above and/or below it is very limited. See Figure
3-9
.

Push tab to the
open position, and
insert the wire.
Then, close tab firmly to
secure the wire in place.

Remove these screws to allow the speakers to be detached.
