Using the Electronic Programme Guide (EPG)

The electronic programme guide provides start/stop times and program

information similar to that provided for digital TV broadcasts. The EPG

typically provides program information for up to seven days.
When used for the first time your radios EPG will be empty. After a

few minutes use the guide will begin to fill up with information for

programs contained within the current multiplex. This is indicated by

the flashing EPG icon. The EPG icon will stop flashing when data for

the currently selected station has been completed.
When operated via the AC adaptor and set to standby mode your radio

will automatically search all available multiplexes and download EPG

data in the background.
Note: Not all stations or multiplexes have EPG data available. Re-

cording using the EPG requires a suitable SD card to be installed in

the radio (see page 16).

1. Press the Mode button until the DAB waveband is selected.

2. Press the EPG button. This displays the programme guide for

the current station. The current program on that station will have

> symbol displayed next to it.

3. Rotate the Tuning/Select control to scroll between the various

stations. To select the desired station press the Select button or

the Tuning/Select control.

4. Rotate the Tuning/Select control to scroll down the various

programs until the desired program is highlighted.
