REPLACING THE FUSE
The TRC-442’s 2-amp in-line fuse
helps protect your CB from power
surges and short circuits. If the CB los-
es power because the fuse has burned
out, replace it using a 2-amp, slow-
blow glass fuse, such as Cat. No. 270-
1023.
Caution: Make sure you replace the
fuse only with another fuse of the same
type and rating.
Follow these steps to replace the fuse.
1. Make sure the power source and
CB are both off.
2. Holding the fuse holder by both
ends, push the ends together,
twist one end counterclockwise,
then pull them apart.
3. If the fuse is blown, replace it.
4. To close the fuse holder, align the
tabs and slots at the ends, and
push the fuse holder ends
together. Then turn either end
clockwise.
