Apply high-sensitivity shooting mode, or raise

Unexpected results when flash
set to V (auto with red-eye
reduction).

When V, or “fill flash with slow sync and red-
eye reduction” available in e (Night portrait)
scene mode, is applied during shooting, In-
Camera Red-Eye Fix may, in very rare cases, be
applied to areas not affected by red-eye. Select a
flash mode other than V when taking pictures
in a shooting mode other than e (Night
portrait
) scene mode.

The camera makes a sound
when the shutter-release
button is pressed halfway.

Pressing the shutter-release button halfway may
activate vibration reduction. The sound of
vibration reduction operation is sometimes
noticeable.
