Distorted output Speaker not connected to properly Check speaker wiring and fix or replace as needed. Refer to the amplifier

Internal crossover not set properly Readjust crossovers. Refer to the internal crossover section of this

Speakers are blown Check system with know working speakers and fix or replace as needed
Poor bass response Speakers wired with wrong Check speaker polarity and fix as needed
polarity causing cancellation at low frequency
Crossover set incorrectly Reset crossovers. Refer to the internal crossover
section of this manual for detailed instructions
Impedance load at amplifier Check speaker impedance load, if below 2 Ω stereo or 4 Ω mono
is too low. Rewire speakers to achieve a higher impedance
Battery fuse blowing Short in power wire or incorrect Check power and ground connections and fix or repair as needed
power connections.
Fuse used is smaller than Replace with proper fuse size
recommended
Too much current being drawn Check speaker impedance load, if below 2 Ω stereo or 4 Ω mono
rewire speakers to achieve a high impedance
