Menu operations
Take pictures for a panoramic picture and combine the pictures for a single panoramic picture
using your camera. Only combined pictures are saved. An Olympus xD-Picture Card is required
for shooting.
Create a panoramic picture using the OLYMPUS Master software from the provided CD-ROM. An
Olympus xD-Picture Card is required for panorama shooting.
Use the arrow pad to specify at which edge you want to connect the pictures, and then compose
your shots so that the edges of the pictures overlap.
Shooting is possible for up to 10 pictures. Press  to exit panorama shooting.
Hints for taking panoramic shots
• In [COMBINE IN CAMERA] the previous picture remains in the frame to help position your next shot.
Compose the shot so that the edges of the previous picture in the frame overlap with the next shot.
• In [COMBINE IN PC] the previous picture for positioning does not remain. Remember the frame
displayed on the monitor as a rough indication, then compose the shot so that the edges of the
previous picture in the frame overlap with the next shot.
• Focus, exposure, WB and zoom are locked at the first frame.

Connects pictures from left
to right
Use 43 to specify at which edge you want to connect the pictures,
and then compose your shots so that the edges of the pictures
overlap.
You can take up to 3 pictures; the pictures are automatically
combined, and then the combined picture is displayed. To combine
only two pictures, press  before shooting the third picture.
• When the card capacity is insufficient, [COMBINE IN CAMERA]
cannot be selected.
