All Notes Off — This feature is a kind of
panic button: it stops the sounds cur-
rently playing. The MD-1600 only re-
ceives this message.
Active Sensing — This means the MD-
1600’s sound turns off in the event the
connection cable to
MIDI IN terminal is
accidentally disconnected.
