CAN
Remote Scan is a collection of software components that allow you to scan documents
from the copier glass or through the copier/printer’s automatic document feeder (ADF)
and send the scanned images to specific destinations. Remote Scan consists of the
following components:
• Scan to E-mail allows you to send the scan file by e-mail as an attachment.
• Scan to FTP allows you to send the scan file to an FTP server.
• Scan to Internet Fax allows you to send the scan file to an e-mail address to be delivered
as a fax.
• Scan to Mailbox allows you to send the scan to a mailbox on the CX3641MFP, from
where it can be retrieved.
• Scan to Disk allows you to scan directly to any hard disk on the network, such as your
local hard disk.
• Scan to Hold queue allows you to scan to the CX3641MFP Hold queue for document
merging and editing.
• Docs WebTool allows you to retrieve scanned jobs from mailboxes on the CX3641MFP.
