11. If Power Indicator Light does not illuminate when On/Off Switch is set to “On” (I) position, unit
is not operating normally. Immediately turn unit off and disconnect from power supply, then
refer to troubleshooting guide on Page 12 of this manual for assistance.
12. Always turn off unit and unplug power cord before moving or filling Water Tank with distilled
water.
13. Do not use unit outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used, or where
oxygen is being administered.
14. Unit is only meant to be used with recommended SF-622 accessories. Using other types of
attachments may cause damage to unit or injury.
15. When filling Water Tank, only distilled or de-mineralized water should be used in unit, in order
to minimize potential build-up of mineral deposits. Other cleaning agents could damage unit or
cause injury. Do not overfill unit.
16. Do not attempt to use steam burst function without properly filling Water Tank.
17. To minimize risk of contact with hot water or steam, do not hold Pressing Plate open more than
3” (75 mm.) when using steam burst function.
18. To reduce risk of contact with hot water emitting from steam vents, check appliance before each
use by positioning it away from body and pressing Steam Burst Button. Do not operate unit if
steam vents are blocked.
19. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Do not touch Pressing Plate
while unit is in use. Do not turn unit upside-down - it may contain hot water.
20. When pressing/steaming any item for the first time, it is recommended that you consult the
manufacturer’s guidelines for material being steamed. For items in question, test on an
inconspicuous area before proceeding.
21. Do not allow power cord to touch hot surfaces during use. Bundle cord inside Cord Storage
Compartment when storing.
22. Always allow Compact Digital Steam Press to cool completely (at least 30 minutes) before
storing.
