1 Press and hold the MENU button
for 1 second or longer.
“REC MODE” will be displayed on the
screen (
☞ P.53).
2 Press the PLAY button.
The recording mode setup process
begins.
3 Press the FF or REW button to
choose from HQ, SP and LP.
4 Press the PLAY button to complete
the setup screen.
5 Press the STOP button to close the
menu.

Choose SHQ/HQ or SP mode for recording meetings or lectures with
crisp clarity.

Recording Modes (REC MODE)
Recording Modes (REC MODE)
You can select from among three recording modes: HQ (High Quality) mode, SP (Standard
Playback) mode and LP (Long Playback) mode.
If a stereo microphone is used, the only possible recording mode is SHQ (Stereo High Quality).
